The Hive - Screen Competition

A successful competitor must be able to satisfy the assessors that he or she is the bona fide author of the design that he or she has submitted.

Competitors should retain copies of the design submitted. The promoter cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to drawings, which may occur, either in transit or during exhibition, storage or packing.

The promoters will notify competitors of the time and place of the shortlisted exhibition and the awards ceremony.

A design will be excluded from the competition if:
• the competitor does not meet the eligibility requirements
• the entry is received after the competition dates shown
• the competitor attempts to influence either directly or indirectly the decision of the assessors
• in the opinion of the assessors, the design does not substantially meet the requirements of the brief

1.	You must provide the Argent Group with the required details if you wish to enter this competition. Argent Group will not pass your details on to anyone without your permission.
2.	Only one entry will be accepted per person.
3.	Entries must be submitted using the official entry form.
4.	This competition is only open to UK residents above the ages of 16. Argent Group reserves the right to request proof of age.
5.	The design you submit must be entirely your own work and its originality will be taken into account by the judges. By contributing your work to Argent Group you agree to grant us the right to publish and use the material in all media for all purposes in connection with the competition. Please note that entries cannot be returned.
6.	If your competition entry is selected by us to be displayed at The Hive, then you automatically assign all rights that you have in this design to us and you authorise us and or any of our authorised agents to modify the competition entry in any way that we think fit. Argent Group also retains rights to the design itself for use on the website, and Argent group promotional material, both online or offline.
7.	The competition winner will be contacted personally. In the event of there being no reply from the phone number or address supplied, Argent Group reserves the right to offer the prize to another entrant or withhold it for use in another competition.
8.	There is one £5,000 cash prize.
9.	Argent Group does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
10.	Entrants must comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes. Ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently will be automatically disqualified.
11.	This competition is not open to employees or contractors of Argent Group or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their direct family members.
12.	The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13.	Argent group reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
14.	Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to have agreed to be bound by them when entering this competition. Entrants may be asked to take part in post competition publicity.
15.	This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
16.	This competition is administered by Argent Group. We reserve the right to change the terms at our discretion by changing them on this website. E & OEs.
